The Student Experience
Pegasus is our Youth Workshop Program. Two immersive learning experiences exist including Pegasus Aerial and Pegasus Earth. In both programs, students work in real-world contexts to explore the connections between land, technology, and human responsibility. Emerging tools are used as new ways of seeing and sensing the world—supporting inquiry, observation, and real-world problem solving. Workshops are adaptable across grade levels, encouraging curiosity in younger learners and deeper investigation in older students.
Cutting Edge Hardware
Pegasus workshops immerse students in the same categories of tools shaping modern research, exploration, and environmental stewardship. Pegasus AERIAL includes the most intuitive remotely piloted aircrafts with brand new software and in-depth instructionals for both. Pegasus EARTH incorporates Environmental sustainability tools—similar to those used by leading researchers—allowing students to collect data in the fields of wildlife, forestry, water and climate change to observe and understand complex natural processes in meaningful ways. By engaging with advanced tools in thoughtful, guided contexts, students build technological fluency, systems awareness, and a deeper respect for the world they are learning to understand and protect.
Pegasus: Aerial
Pegasus Aerial Programming is Skystone Education’s hands-on drone training experience built for high school students ready to do real work in real airspace. Students learn aviation theory, airspace regulations, mission planning, safety protocols, and practical flight operations aligned with Transport Canada standards. Through structured instruction and live flight sessions, learners build confidence, technical precision, and decision-making skills under real-world conditions. Eligible students can prepare for and complete their Basic RPAS License, leaving with a nationally recognized credential. Pegasus is not simulation-based learning — it is applied, professional-grade aviation education designed to build competence, responsibility, and future-ready opportunity.
